New War Strategy:
It is RECOMMENDED that we follow these GUIDELINES for successfully winning our next, and all future wars;
Gators in the lowest 10 slots SHOULD attack as quicky as posssible against any target they believe they can get AT LEAST 2 stars, or more if possible.
After allowing those 10 players suffient time to take their first shot(s) at their targets, any player that feels they cannot successfully (meaning 3 star) attack a TH L10 target, look at targets 10 spots LESS than yours--NOT YOUR RECOMMENDED TARGET! Unless you are sure you can 3 star them. So If you are in the 21 spot look around enemy's 31 spot. Choose a target you feel VERY comfortable in taking all 3 stars. THIS IS THE KEY that MOST successful clans are using towards victory. the goal is to get 3 stars in your FIRST attack, then the second, if you use it (please do) is to take any stars remaining or hitting higher value targets and getting 2 stars.
There are several players who CAN take out the hi level targets, by all means go after them. There are times when a TH L10 is easy to take because of a flaw or it just matches your game play, by all means take it on the first shot IF you are confident you CAN get at least 2, 3 is better of course. Or you can save it for your second. If you want to start reserving targets, we can disscuss that later.
Our rules state we are mandatorily required to attacks once per war. So make this first one count for the success of the clan. If the payout isn't high enough, on your purely non-obligated second attack, you can go for higher leveled targets with higher payouts. (Heres the kicker, if we don't attack with the clan in mind, higher payouts dont mean squat because we won't get those high payouts because we will loose the war)
About midway into the war, please don't just log on and attack without first viewing and chatting with clan. Those online usually are discussing key strategies specific for the war at hand or are discussing things that worked or didn't work against specific targets. Join in the conversation, or at least pay attention to it.
During war please suspend the courtesies of thank you and GO GATORS for every donation, you can add it in the request. This leaves chat clean for thise wanting war strategies when no one else is online.
Watch the replays if you are re-hitting a target, learn from their mistakes, adjust your troops, spells and strategy accordingly. Ask questions, ask for tips. Ask for SPECIFIC troops to assist with a specific target. Use the prep day to decide who you want to attack and prepare accordingly.
The clan members know that you have your own style and way of playing, please take these things as recommendations, but weigh the value to yourself with the value to the clan's overall victory plan.
We also recommend joining the clan during the last 2 hours of the war to assist with taking the third or second and third of three stars remaining on a specific target. Take them out from the bottom up please.
Please dont "wait and see" if others will attack or make it worth doing. We war AS a clan, which means teamwork. If you are debating on whether or not to "waste your time, energy, resources," whatever, then you are not playing as a team, because others might be waiting for YOU to attack to see if they will, so no one attacks, and we loose. GATORS DONT QUIT!
Those that use both their attacks, which is most of us in the last war, need to communicate their intentions of targets to ensure someone else isnt building troops for the same target especially in the final push.
It is recommended that no one lag behind in their first attack.
Sniping is a no-no! Unless our illustrious leader or co-leader gives the go ahead.
Our new member, Tucker, has been an excellent resource for game play, troop make up, war strategy etc. talk to him, he's willing to help.
If you look at the last war, this is the strategy they used against us! Mid way in', we started using this strategy and came within 3 of winning against a clan with 46 wins. that says alot, imagine what we could have done if we followed it the entire war.
